Zeekr Norway – EV brand continues to grow across Europe

by ElectricBlue

Zeekr, a global leader in premium electric mobility, is set to launch its cutting-edge smart electric vehicles in Norway. The all-electric Zeekr 001 shooting brake and Zeekr X compact SUV will be available for order later this month, with customer deliveries beginning by the end of the year.

As one of the world’s most advanced electric vehicle markets, Norway represents a key milestone in Zeekr’s European expansion, following the brand’s successful entry into the Netherlands and Sweden last year. With approximately 340,000 EVs delivered globally, Zeekr continues to drive innovation in e-mobility, and its presence in Norway will further accelerate its sustainable growth.

Zeekr Norway

The Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X offer a striking combination of unique design, advanced technology, long-range capability, and impressive performance. In Norway, where over 80% of new car sales are electric, Zeekr has established a carefully selected network of retailers to provide customers with a seamless experience, from test drives and vehicle configuration to ordering and servicing. This network, launching in October, will begin with Premium Cars Stor-Oslo and expand to other major cities over time, supported by Zeekr-authorized service centers and workshops.

Zeekr Europe Chief Commercial Officer, Lothar Schupet, said: “We’re delighted to be launching our brand in Norway. This is a very important market for us, and our top-notch electric vehicles will be matched to a first-class customer experience, delivered through our new retailer network – a first for Zeekr in Europe. Norway is one of the most advanced EV markets in the world, and I can’t wait to see our first EVs on the road here before the end of this year.”

Zeekr’s commitment to quality ensures complete peace of mind for customers. Every new Zeekr vehicle in Norway comes with a 5-year/100,000 km warranty, which can be extended by an additional 5 years/100,000 km when customers follow the recommended service and maintenance schedule at Zeekr retailers or authorized service centers.

Zeekr believes that a seamless public charging experience is a vital part of EV ownership. That’s why they’ve partnered with Plugsurfing, giving their customers access to over 800,000 charging points across Europe through the Zeekr Charge App and RFID charging card. The app helps users locate nearby chargers, start and stop charging sessions, and handle billing and receipts, ensuring a convenient and hassle-free charging process.

ZEEKR 001 & ZEEKR X

ZEEKR 001

The Zeekr 001’s bold presence and sleek, aerodynamic design not only enhance its range and refinement but also emphasize its performance and agility. Delivering 400kW (544hp) and 686Nm of peak output, the dual-motor all-wheel drive Performance and Privilege models accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a stunning 3.8 seconds, powered by a 100kWh battery pack. The advanced chassis is engineered for exceptional driving dynamics, as evidenced by the Zeekr 001’s four Guinness World Records for EVs, including the fastest drift and fastest slalom.

The single-motor, rear-wheel drive Long Range version, also equipped with a 100kWh battery, offers up to 620 km (WLTP) of driving range on a single charge, eliminating range anxiety. With 200kW DC fast charging, the battery can charge from 10-80% in just 30 minutes, while the powerful 22kW AC onboard charger fully recharges the battery from 0-100% in just five and a half hours.

ZEEKR X

Designed for city adventures and beyond, the Zeekr X features a beautifully pure, meticulously crafted design. Despite its compact size, the interior is spacious and luxurious, offering high-end features typically found in larger vehicles, such as an augmented reality head-up display, a lightning-fast 5G infotainment system, and massage seats made from eco-friendly PU fabrics.

For those seeking a thrilling driving experience, the dual-motor, all-wheel drive Privilege model delivers 315kW (428hp) and 543Nm of instant torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in an impressive 3.8 seconds. The single-motor, rear-wheel drive Long Range model offers up to 446 km of range (WLTP).
