AMR 2026: Event Overview

Following the success of its landmark 2025 edition, AMR 2026 returns with expanded scale, broader international participation, and enhanced business-driven experiences for industry professionals.

The previous show in 2025 attracted 48,661 trade visitors from 57 countries and regions, confirming its status as a truly global meeting point. Both visitor attendance and international representation recorded strong growth compared to earlier editions, highlighting rising global interest and confidence in the platform.

A total of 1,186 exhibitors took part, representing a 12% increase year-on-year. The exhibition floor featured a comprehensive cross-section of manufacturers, suppliers, and solution providers, creating a dynamic environment for sourcing, collaboration, and partnership building.

Covering 80,000 square metres across four exhibition halls, the event delivered a large-scale yet well-structured experience. The expansive venue supported product showcases, technology demonstrations, and face-to-face meetings, allowing attendees to engage efficiently with key players across the industry.

Beyond the exhibition, the programme included 39 concurrent conferences, forums, and technical sessions. These events provided valuable insights into market developments, innovation trends, and future strategies, positioning the show as both a commercial and knowledge-sharing hub.

Business matching remained a major highlight, with more than 100 professional buyer groups attending from China and international markets. These curated groups enabled targeted networking opportunities, helping exhibitors connect with qualified buyers and drive meaningful commercial outcomes.

With its strong track record, international reach, and integrated exhibition and conference format, the event continues to be a strategic platform for companies seeking market expansion, industry visibility, and long-term growth in 2026.

As China’s automotive ecosystem accelerates towards a cleaner, smarter, and more connected future, Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR) 2026 returns as a vital platform for industry transformation. Driven by the rapid adoption of new energy vehicles (NEVs), intelligent connectivity, and smart mobility technologies, the aftermarket and road transport equipment sectors are undergoing a fundamental shift in business models, service delivery, and supply chain integration.

AMR 2026 will showcase cutting-edge technologies and solutions that respond directly to these market changes. From digital inspection systems and intelligent repair tools to low-carbon logistics and smart transport equipment, the exhibition highlights how innovation is reshaping vehicle maintenance, repair, and transportation across China and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

AMR 2026: Spotlight on New Energy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

The surge in NEV ownership has had a profound impact on China’s automotive aftermarket, with new energy vehicles accounting for over 10 percent of all vehicles on the road as of mid-2025. This rapid growth has created strong demand for specialised services such as battery inspection, electrical control diagnostics, safety performance testing, and battery recycling.

AMR 2026 will feature a comprehensive range of NEV-focused maintenance and repair solutions designed to improve efficiency, safety, and service quality. The show provides a collaborative platform for manufacturers, service providers, and supply chain stakeholders to connect, exchange expertise, and explore new business opportunities in this fast-evolving segment.

At the same time, traditional repair and maintenance businesses continue to evolve through advanced digitalisation. Exhibitors will present innovations including automated wheel hub repair systems, high-performance electric tools, precision spray equipment, and intelligent diagnostic platforms aimed at helping workshops enhance productivity and profitability.

AMR 2026: Driving Growth in Commercial Vehicles and Smart Logistics

The Commercial Vehicles & Road Transport Equipment Zone will once again be a major highlight of AMR 2026. This dedicated area focuses on intelligent connectivity, smart logistics, vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, and low-carbon transportation solutions.

Visitors can expect to see advanced commercial vehicle models, smart driving simulation systems, cargo fastening solutions, unmanned delivery vehicles, and integrated transport technologies designed to improve efficiency across the logistics value chain. The zone emphasises systematic integration between drivers, vehicles, cargo, and infrastructure, reflecting the industry’s shift towards smarter and more sustainable transport ecosystems.

Concurrent events will include professional driver skills competitions and live demonstrations of intelligent simulation equipment used in training and safety management. These interactive experiences allow participants to gain hands-on insights while fostering collaboration between logistics providers, transport operators, and technology suppliers.

In parallel, the Parts & Components sector will highlight essential commercial vehicle parts and systems, supporting maintenance, performance upgrades, and energy efficiency. Together, these sectors create a dynamic hub for cross-industry cooperation and supply chain development.

Customisation, Culture, and the Next Generation of Car Owners

As younger consumers become the dominant force in the automotive market, personalisation and automotive culture are playing an increasingly important role. AMR 2026 responds to this trend through its Accessories & Customising sector, which will feature off-road vehicles, pick-up truck customisation kits, auto detailing products, rescue equipment, and a wide range of interior and exterior accessories.

Reflecting evolving consumer preferences, the exhibition will also host the National Creative Film Application Skills Competition, combining skills training, live demonstrations, and competitive showcases. These activities help aftermarket service providers and product suppliers connect with distributors and end-users while exploring new cultural and lifestyle-driven market opportunities.

Supporting Global Expansion and Cross-Border Collaboration

As one of the leading automotive aftermarket exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, AMR 2026 plays a key role in facilitating international business development. The show attracts overseas buyers from regions including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and South America, supporting domestic companies seeking cross-border partnerships.

Through targeted buyer programmes, overseas media outreach, and a strong global network, AMR continues to expand its international reach. A series of forums and discussions will also provide valuable insights into regional market expansion and global growth strategies.

Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR) is co-organised by China Automotive Maintenance Equipment Industry Association (CAMEIA), China Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (CAMRA), Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, and China National Machinery Industry International Co Ltd (Sinomachint).
