BYD

BYD Thailand introduced the standard range BYD Dolphin at the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show on 21st March 2023. The BYD Dolphin, BYD’s second pure electric model in Thailand, features an NEDC range of 410 km, a compact design with a dolphin-inspired interior. Built upon e-Platform 3.0, the model offers a spacious interior space comparable to B-segment cars. The overall design embodies BYD’s ocean aesthetics, exuding electrified vitality and a futuristic appeal.

BYD’s exhibition area spans 2,052 square meters, making it the largest booth at the Motor Show for a single brand, with eight models showcasing, including Tang EV, Han EV, BYD Seal, Frigate 07, Denza D9, BYD DOLPHIN, BYD ATTO 3 and Song Plus (DM-i). The lineup covers sedan, SUV and MPV with focus on pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids cars, demonstrating the diversity of BYD’s product portfolio.

MG

MG Thailand also launched a couple of new models at BIMS 2023. On March 21, 2023SAIC Motor-CP and MG Sales Thailand presented its new MG Maxus 9 for the first time in Thailand and ASEAN. This fully electric 7-seater MPV is packed with cutting-edge comfort and features, and has a range of 540km.

Another MG model launch was of the MG ES EV, a 100% electric station wagon. It has an impressive boot space capacity of 1,367 liters, and is available for sale with prices starting from THB 959,000

Lexus

Lexus’ first-ever dedicated electric vehicle, the Lexus RZ, has now been launched in Thailand, also at the ongoing 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show. The RZ is offered in a sole RZ 450e variant that has two available trim levels. The fully-electric SUV is priced from THB 3,870,000 for the Luxury trim, and THB 4,190,000 for Premium.

BMW

BMW has an impressive line-up of EVs at BIMS 2023. The i3s, i4, i4 M50, i7, iX and iX3 will all be displayed during the event. At BMW’s booth is a special Luxury Lounge zone, a leisure corner to experience the new i7 closely.

Additionally, for the first time at the motor show, you can try out BMW’s EVE (Emotional Virtual Experience) – a new feature that offers an enhanced experience, enabling you to make the right choice. You can customize and modify the car according to your preferences and view high-resolution images of the car in greater detail before placing your order. Furthermore, you can enjoy the modified atmosphere around the car, which will immerse you in the aesthetics of driving
