EV Indonesia 2024 is a leading trade exhibition in Indonesia for electric vehicle and
manufacturing solution in its 3rd edition, that will be in the same location as INAPA 2024, the
largest automotive industry trade exhibition in ASEAN. This exhibition is targeted to present
1,200 exhibitors and attract 35,000 business visitors. This exhibition will be held from 15th till 17th of
May 2024 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia.
EV Indonesia 2024 will showcase trends and latest technology for electric vehicles and manufacturing solutions, including battery, power plant machines, IT systems, materials, equipment, and services related to electric vehicles. This exhibition will be attended by government officials, entrepreneurs, practitioners, academics, and corporate leaders to discuss and exchange insight about electric vehicle and manufacturing solution.
According to a joint study conducted by AC Ventures and e-mobility association AEML, the total of the electric vehicle ecosystem market in Indonesia is estimated to surpass USD 20 billion in 2030. This study shows that the Research & Development (R&D) and electric vehicle manufacture sector offers the largest total market, between USD 12.5 billion to USD 15 billion in 2030.
Besides, the market size for cell manufacture and battery management system is estimated to be worth around USD 3 billion to USD 4.5 billion, while charging infrastructure is estimated to reach around USD 2 billion to USD 3 billion in 2030.
The study also revealed that service, maintenance, and battery recycling industries will reach a market size of around USD 500 million to USD 1.5 billion in 2030. However, battery recycling industry is estimated will not enough in 2030 because the existence of electric vehicle industry is fairly new in Southeast Asia region, especially because electric vehicle battery generally last about 10 years.
