The Malaysia Autoshow 2024 (MAS 2024) will open its doors once again this 22nd to 26th May 2024, at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), and will expand to nearby IOI City Mall to bring an even bigger experience for visitors.
The Autoshow’s seventh edition – organised by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) – continues the tradition of showcasing the latest vehicles on the market, for both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV) alike, more brands will be highlighted with an expansion from 30,000 square meter to an impressive 40,000 square meters of exhibition space.
Last year’s Autoshow surpassed the RM 1 billion mark in potential sales, with nearly 200,000 enthusiastic visitors over the four-day event. The show featured 9 new car and bikes launches, showcasing over 30 car brands and 50 bike brands and accessories, across more than 300 displays, including vehicles, accessories, and cutting-edge technology products.
This year, the Autoshow will now be 5 days long (with a another day open to only the media), and will expand to IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, to allow not only for more exhibition space, but to improve overall traffic flow in and out of the show.
Malaysia Autoshow 2024 is gearing up to be yet another milestone event. The exhibition space will see a significant expansion providing more room for innovation and excitement.
One of the key reasons the Malaysia Autoshow has been held in MAEPS Serdang (since 2017, actually) is the test routes. The grounds of MAEPS, full of twisting roads and lanes in and out of the halls, make it a perfect place to test drive the cars you intend to buy on a further road, at speeds that allow you to better judge ride, handling, comfort etc.
The test drives have always been a big hit, and this year the organisers are going to make the test tracks even longer – 18kms long in total!
Apart from the current 4.5km test route in MAEPS, certain vehicle models (particularly those with higher engine capacities) would be test driven from the adjacent IOI City Mall test drive lobby. There are 2 routes, encompassing a drive around the mall, and the adjacent SKVE before making a turn back to base. The three routes combined make the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 test drive route a total of 18 kilometres!
Don’t miss this edition of Malaysia Autoshow 2024!
