DESCRIPTION:Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2025\nAutomechanika Kuala Lumpur 2025 will be the largest edition featuring an expanded showcase across six halls at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It will showcase the evolution of the Malaysian market through new zones\, the return of specialised areas that spotlight new mobility solutions\, the vibrant automotive culture at autoFEST@KL\, and green development throughout Southeast Asia\, all around the fairground. \nAutomechanika Kuala Lumpur 2025\, taking place from to 13 to 17 May 2025\, hosts a diverse array of events through its fringe programme. Over the course of three days\, more than 30 experts will present the latest trends in automotive mobility and logistics through conference sessions and interactive workshops. The exhibition\, which has expanded from last year to span Hall 1 to Hall 6 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre\, acts as a bridge between the Malaysian and global markets\, providing an interactive\, engaging\, and productive meeting place for industry stakeholders. The concurrent events complement the dynamic nature of the show by facilitating discussions with representatives from world leading companies\, hands-on demonstrations from automotive experts\, and engaging activities that celebrate a variety of subcultures and lifestyle trends. \nMalaysian government policies and a shifting market landscape towards AI\, digitalisation\, electrification\, energy efficiency\, and sustainability have resulted in the country becoming an attractive investment destination\, driven by demand for sustainable products and solutions in the automotive industry. Automechanika Kuala Lumpur 2025 will showcase the evolution of the Malaysian market through new zones\, the return of specialised areas that spotlight new mobility solutions\, the vibrant automotive culture at autoFEST@KL\, and green development throughout Southeast Asia\, all around the fairground. \nOf late\, Malaysia has attracted substantial investment and co-operation from global industry leaders. For instance\, the Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) plans to invest USD 479 million in Malaysia over the next five years. As part of this initiative\, around 30 percent of the company’s vehicles that are manufactured in Malaysia will be exported to other countries in Southeast Asia[1]\, adding to the development of the industry and Malaysia’s status as an automotive manufacturing hub for the region. \nBuilding on this momentum\, domestic leader Proton has also made significant strides by launching its first electric vehicle. With much of its stake held by Chinese manufacturer\, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group\, Malaysian firms such as Proton are presented with opportunities for growth and innovation as expertise is transferred through this collaboration. \nMs Fiona Chiew\, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd\, commented: “Malaysia is gaining significant traction from foreign investments and government policies aimed at sustainable technologies. Together with Malaysia’s ASEAN chairmanship for 2025\, this positions the country to strengthen its leadership in the Southeast Asian automotive industry. The innovations at the 2025 edition of Automechanika Kuala Lumpur are vital for Malaysia and the global automotive industry in meeting the rising demand for charging technologies\, electric parts and solutions\, and automotive talent\, fuelled by the energy transition.” \nAnswering the needs of the industry throughout the fairground\nTo address the new ideas\, technologies\, and innovations in the market\, the Automotive Mobility Solutions Zone makes a return in 2025. The area will explore innovative solutions based on the latest advancements in green mobility as a response to the heightened focus on new energy efficiency\, new materials\, advanced technologies\, and more. Exhibitors will cover topics such as AI and autonomous driving\, automotive manufacturing and automation\, connectivity\, electrification and digitalisation\, energy\, logistics\, and warehousing and supply chain.  \nOther zones and events addressing the latest trends and popular subcultures include the Automotive Repair\, Maintenance & Care / Body & Paint / Accessories & Customising Zone\, as well as the Collision Repair Training Workshop. These will present the latest repair and maintenance equipment and techniques for all drive technologies and vehicle concepts\, along with diagnostic solutions\, smart repair systems\, and infotainment technologies. This year’s event will also see the return of EMMA Malaysia\, showcasing a variety of car audio modifications.
