Auto China 2024

Auto China 2024 show will be held from April 25-May 4, with media days from April 25-26 and public days from April 27-May 4.

There will be two venues — China International Exhibition Center Shunyi New Venue and China International Exhibition Center Chaoyang Hall.

The Shunyi venue mainly showcases passenger cars, commercial vehicles and some technology companies and media related to the automotive industry.

In the Shunyi exhibition area, April 25-26 are media days, April 27-28 are professional visitor days, and April 29-May 4 are the general public days.

Except for May 4, the visiting hours of the professional visitor days and general public days are from 10:00-18:00, and the visiting hours of May 4 are from 10:00-16:00.

The Chaoyang venue mainly displays components, automotive equipment and related products for three days from April 25-27. Visiting hours are 9:00-17:00 on April 25-26 and 9:00-15:00 on April 27.

The two venues have a total area of 220,000 square meters and will feature 278 new energy vehicle (NEV) models, according to information released by the event’s organizers.

The show will see the global debut of 117 models, including 30 from multinational automakers. The event will also feature 41 concept cars.

Exhibitors include traditional brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Volkswagen, as well as new car brands like Nio, Xpeng and Xiaomi.

Established in year 1990, Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, also known as Auto China, has been successfully held for 16 consecutive editions. Being held every two years in Beijing, Auto China has been well recognized as one of the most important automotive fairs in the world. Auto China 2022 was unable to take place due to the pandemic. The past shows have received significant attention and participation from renowned domestic and international automobile and component manufacturers, as well as various sectors of society, enjoying a high level of professionalism and authority within the industry.

Auto China has won global recognition in many aspects, including the fair scale, number of exhibitors and visitors, media’s participation, etc. Auto China is devoted to develop as one of the most valuable and influential exhibitions for both OE and Aftermarket in China.

NIO lineup at Auto China 2024

The 2024 ET5 and the 2024 ES7 in China will debut, while the 2024 ET7, its smart premium electric executive sedan, will be launched in China at the auto show.

The 2024 ET7, designed for business mobility, comes with upgraded computing, including an all-around upgrade in cabin intelligence and smart driving capabilities.

The AI-empowered vehicle handling and stability will showcase China’s outstanding capabilities in advanced intelligent manufacturing, the firm says.

Nio will also display the 12 full-stack technologies including Smart Power, Smart Manufacturing, and Chip and Smart Hardware as well as the Nio Power Swap Station and the 640 kW ultra-fast liquid-cooled charger at the stand.
