BYD SEAGULL, BYD’s new pure electric vehicle, has officially launched in Colombia. Since its debut at the Colombia Auto Show last year, the BYD SEAGULL has been highly anticipated by local consumers. Featuring high aesthetic appeal, cutting-edge electric technology, and exceptional cost- effectiveness, this compact electric hatchback is set to become the top choice for Colombian urban youth. The launch event drew over 600 media representatives and clients, earning accolades from local media as Colombia’s annual premier new product launch.
Adopting an ocean-inspired aesthetic, the BYD SEAGULL features dynamic color schemes and lines. Its streamlined body boasts smooth curves, radiating a strong sense of sportiness. Inside, the elegant interior is designed with both space and comfort in mind. The vehicle is outfitted with BYD’s intelligent cockpit system and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen, enabling smart voice control, karaoke, CarPlay, Android Auto, and more, to ensure a delightful and smart driving experience for its users.
Thanks to the advanced BYD e-Platform 3.0, the BYD SEAGULL features an ultra- safe body structure that significantly enhances safety and provides an exceptional intelligent driving experience. This launch introduces two editions of the BYD SEAGULL, both equipped with the innovative BYD blade batteries. They offer ranges of 300km and 380km, respectively, under NEDC conditions. Additionally, they can charge from 30% to 80% state of charge in just 30 minutes with DC fast charging.
